The first of two new frigates built in South Korea for the Philippine navy is expected to arrive in the Philippines this weekend with medical supplies donated by the government in Seoul, reports the Philippine News Agency.
The Jose Rizal left the Hyundai Heavy Industries shipyard in Ulsan, South Korea, on Monday and is expected to arrive at her homeport of Subic Bay on May 23.
The crew will complete a mandatory 14-day quarantine before a final inspection and induction into service....
