New Fishery Patrol Ship Heads To East China Sea

The first Chinese fishery patrol vessel with a platform for helicopters has begun its initial patrol in the East China Sea, reports Xinhua, China's state news agency.
The 2,580-ton Yuzheng-310 can carry two Z-9A helicopters and reach speeds of up to 22 knots (41 kmh), according to fishery officials. The patrol craft is fitted with a broadband satellite communications system and photoelectric tracking system.
The mission in the East China Sea is scheduled to last for 20 days. ...
