The U.S. Navy will commission its newest Arleigh Burke-class destroyer on Saturday in Mobile, Ala., reports the Dept. of Defense.
The William P. Lawrence (DDG-110) is named after the late Vice Adm. Lawrence, who earned the Silver Star for a strike mission in 1967 against a heavily defended target in North Vietnam.
