India is seeking international partners for development of the naval version of the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA), Defense News reports.
Lockheed Martin was expected to work on the project, but failed to get the necessary security clearances from the U.S. government in time, Indian navy officials said.
The Indian navy has already ordered six LCAs, committing about US$30 million to each aircraft.
