The Indian military is preparing to remove the last of its helicopters from the U.N. peacekeeping mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO), reports the Press Trust of India.
At one point, New Delhi deployed 17 Mi-17, eight Mi-35 and Mi-25 helicopters to U.N. missions in the Congo and Sudan.
The remaining four Mi-35 attack helicopters in the Congo will return to India early next month at the end of a contract with the U.N. mission, Indian officials said.
