Burma and India are set to sign a number of agreements to expand cooperation in several areas, including counterterrorism, reports the Indo-Asian News Service.
Gen. Than Shwe, the military ruler of Burma, is on a five-day visit to India.
Counterterrorism cooperation is said to be at the top of the agenda.
