New Brigade Takes Over Task Force Helmand

Britain's 4 Mechanized Brigade has formally assumed command of British troops in Afghanistan's southern Helmand province, reports the U.K. Ministry of Defense.
The unit replaced 11 Light Brigade on Saturday. The light brigade headed the mission since October 2009.
The 4 Mechanized Brigade is scheduled to be deployed through October 2010.
