New Body Armor To Be Employed First For Troops In Iraq

The U.S. Army has decided to conduct a limited fielding of improved body armor with its troops in Iraq, reports the Army Times.

The X Small Arms Protective Inserts (XSAPI) and X Side Ballistic Inserts (XSBI) will be distributed beginning on Dec. 15, according to Army documents.
