The U.S. Army has approved a program to recruit experienced cybersecurity experts as cyber officers, reports the Stars and Stripes.
The U.S. Army Cyber Command plans to directly commission five civilians in the coming months, with the goal of bringing its first batch of officers into military training by February, said Lt. Gen. Paul Nakasone, the Army Cyber Command chief.
