After a change-of-command ceremony, the Australian army has a new leader, reports the Australian Dept. of Defense.
Lt. Gen. David Morrison stepped down as army chief in a Friday ceremony in Canberra.
Morrison is retiring after 36 years of service, including four years in the top army post.
He has been succeeded by Lt. Gen. Angus Campbell.
