New Anti-Tank Weapons Ordered From Saab

June 15 2010

Luxembourg

Luxembourg has placed an order with Saab for anti-tank missile systems, reports the Swedish defense firm.

Luxembourg is the fourth customer for the next-generation light anti-tank weapon (NLAW) system, after the U.K., Sweden and Finland.

The system is a top-attack, fire-and-forget missile that can be operated by a single soldier.

The NLAW should provide Luxembourg units with a true anti-tank self-protection capability, said the company.
