The United Nations is investigating allegations of sexual abuse by a civilian member of its mission in the Central African Republic, reports the Voice of America.
This makes 17 members of the mission who have been so accused since the peacekeeping mission began last year.
The civilian is suspected of sexual misconduct, said MINUSCA in a statement.
Local authorities were informed that U.N. investigators were conducting an internal probe, said MINUSCA on Tuesday.
