Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has criticized the recent truce reached by Russia and the United States for southern Syria, saying it is a bad deal for Israel since it maintains Iran's presence in Syria, reports Haaretz (Israel).
Netanyahu met with French President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday and made it clear that Israel adamantly opposed the plan.
Israel believes that Tehran wants to significantly increase its presence in Syria, said an unnamed senior Israeli official....
