Israeli officials say Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has sent a message to Syrian President Bashar Assad, threatening to attack if Syria allows Iran to establish military bases there, reports the Wall Street Journal.
When the message was sent is not specified. The newspaper said it preceded a missile strike on Dec. 2.
