Negotiations Push Off Fighter Decision Until Next Year

Procurement officials in South Korea say the government is not expected to make a decision on its next combat aircraft purchase until next year, reports the Yonhap News Agency.
Lockheed Martin's F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, Boeing's F-15SE Silent Eagle and the Eurofighter Typhoon are competing for the program.
The cost of the overall program is estimated at US$7.3 billion for 60 jets.
