The U.S. Army has broadened its campaign to get more National Guard and Reserve personnel to join the active-duty service as part of its push to grow to 476,000 by the end of September, reports the Army Times.
The Army has received about 1,000 applications since launching the Call to Active Duty program for Guard and Reserve officers and warrant officers earlier this year, according to Maj. Gen. Thomas Seamands, the head of Army Human Resources Command.
