Continuing its recent trend, the U.S. Navy will send its most modern aircraft to the Pacific region over the next five years, reports Flight International.
The latest upgraded F/A-18E/F Super Hornet fighters, new E-2D Advanced Hawkeye airborne warning and control system aircraft and EA-18G electronic aircraft will deploy to the region, according to the chief of naval operations.
The initial deployment of the MQ-4C unmanned maritime patrol aircraft is planned for Guam in 2017....
