Navy's Latest Attack Subs To Be Named Montana, Iowa

Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus has announced the names of the service's two newest fast-attack submarines, reports USA Today.
On Tuesday, Mabus was in Billings, Mont., where he unveiled the Montana (SSN-794).
On Wednesday, Mabus traveled to Iowa State University in Ames, were he announced that SSN-797 will bear the name USS Iowa.
The Montana and the Iowa will be the 23rd and 24th boats in the Virginia class. Plans call for a total of 28
