For the first time in six years, Indian navy ships are visiting China, reports the Indo-Asian News Service.
Indian navy vessels have also made port calls in Seychelles.
Four navy ships -- Rana, Shivalik, Karmukh and Shakti -- docked Wednesday in Shangahi for a four-day visit while on deployment to the South China Sea and northwest Pacific, according to an Indian Defense Ministry statement cited by Defense News.
