The Philippine navy will send a ship to China's international fleet review in April, reports the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
The move is currently in the planning stages, Vice Adm. Robert Empedrad, the navy chief told the newspaper on Monday.
It will mark the first time that Manila has sent ships to the event.
This year's review is scheduled for April 23 off the city of Quingdao on China's northeastern coast.
