USA—Navy Seeks 5,000 More Sailors In 2020

The U.S. Navy wants to add thousands of additional active-duty sailors to meet its at-sea requirements, reports USNI News. As part of a restructuring of its personnel requirements, the service says it wants to cut 3,100 billets in fiscal 2020 while adding 5,000 new sailors for aviation units and new vessels, according to the budget request released on Tuesday.
