Navy Receives Another Spanish-Built Patrol Boat

Spanish shipbuilder Navantia has delivered the second of four Guaicamacuto-class patrol boats to the Venezuelan navy at its San Fernando shipyard, reports defense-aerospace.com.
The Yavire, which was launched on March 11, 2009 and delivered Nov. 8, 2010, is designed for a variety of missions, including surveillance, coastal protection, firefighting, pollution control, search and rescue and surface warfare.
