Navy Mulls Nuclear-Powered Attack Subs To Counter N. Korean Threat

The South Korean navy has set up a task force to study a potential acquisition of nuclear-powered submarines, reports the Korea Times.
The task force was disclosed in the service’s annual audit report to the Parliament, which was released on Oct. 10.
The unit has been primarily collecting information on such a capability, which would bolster South Korea's deterrence capabilities, officials said.
