Navy Kicks Off Outreach Program For Others In The Region

The Indian navy is launching a new program intended to improve ties with smaller naval forces in the Indian Ocean region, reports India Today.
Under the Sambandh Initiative, naval officers and cadets from smaller navies will be brought aboard larger vessels, such as the aircraft carrier Vikramaditya, Kolkata-class destroyers and Kalvari-class diesel-electric submarines.
