The Australian navy has temporarily suspended flights of its maritime helicopters after one of the aircraft was forced to ditch in the Philippine Sea, reports the Australian Dept. of Defense.
On Thursday, the MH-60R Seahawk was conducting operations at night from the destroyer Brisbane in the Philippine Sea when it was forced to make an emergency landing in the water.
The three crewmembers were rescued and treated for minor injuries.
