Navy Freezes Computer Servers, Data Centers

The Navy has told its procurement officers to stop buying more computer servers and increase the efficiency of those it already operates, United Press International reports.

Commands have been instructed to develop plans to reduce their data centers by 25 percent and increase server utilization by at least 40 percent, Navy officials said.
