China's navy has commissioned a new anti-submarine patrol aircraft, reports the Press Trust of India.
The Gaoxin-6 anti-submarine aircraft, developed by Aviation Industry Corp. of China, has been delivered to the navy's North Sea fleet, reported the state-run China Daily on Tuesday.
The aircraft, based on the Y-8 transport aircraft, features a large sea-search radar and a magnetic anomaly detector boom.
