The Indian navy has just commissioned two water-jet propelled fast attack craft into service at a base in Visakhapatnam on the east coast, reports the Press Trust of India.
Commissioned on Tuesday, the Cankarso and Kondul are the fifth and sixth vessels in the Car Nicobar class.
The navy plans to build 10 of the boats at a cost of US$133 million, according to service officials.
