Navy Awards Contract For Aegis Systems For Destroyers

Lockheed Martin's Mission Systems & Sensors business, Moorestown, N.J., says it has received a U.S. Navy contract to build additional Aegis weapon systems for Arleigh Burke-class destroyers.
The $97 million contract covers the production of one system for the unnamed DDG-113 and advanced procurement for two additional systems for DDG-114 and DDG-115, said a company release.
