Navy Accepts Anti-Radar Missiles

The U.S. Navy has taken initial deliveries of production AGM-88E Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missiles (AARGMs), reports the Minneapolis-based Alliant Techsystems (ATK), which builds the weapon.

The AARGM, an upgraded version of the AGM-88 high-speed anti-radiation missile (HARM), is designed to destroy modern air defense systems, time-critical and mobile targets, while minimizing collateral damage.
