The French navy has taken delivery of its fourth ship built as part of the European multi-mission frigate (FREMM) program, reports DCNS, the French shipbuilder.
The Auvergne was handed over to the service on April 11 in Toulon.
The program calls for six of the frigates to be delivered by the end of 2019. Another two ships in the class will be equipped with enhanced air defense capabilities and delivered by 2022.
