Naval Relations Improving With Pakistan, Spain

The Nigerian navy hopes to strengthen its relations with the navies in Pakistan and Spain, reports the Daily Trust (Abuja).

The government in Islamabad is interested in providing training for the Nigerian navy and improving its submarine command center, said Pakistani diplomats in Nigeria.

Separately, the Spanish ambassador to Nigeria urged a review of naval strategies, improved joint army operations and more support to the Nigerian air force.
