Naval Recruiting Drive Said To Be Succeeding

The South African navy says its strategy to retain and recruit personnel is working, reports the Cape Times (Cape Town).
The navy says its submarine recruitment Web site has had more than 10,000 hits.
The service is seeking to recruit young people to serve for two years after training; it has been providing more on-the-job training and better remuneration packages in an effort to improve retention.
