Northrop Grumman says it has successfully completed a live outdoor trial of its new S-band radar testbed in Linthicum, Md.
The radar successfully tracked aircraft and other targets of opportunity and demonstrated key technologies, including distributed receivers and digital beam forming, said company officials.
