Naval Group, ECA Robotics To Supply New Mine Warfare Ships For Belgian, Dutch Navies

Belgium and the Netherlands have selected a consortium of French firms Naval Group and ECA Robotics to build their new mine countermeasures vessels, reports defense-aerospace.com
Each country will acquire six of the ships, which will employ unmanned surface and underwater vessels to detect and neutralize mines, said a release from the Belgian Ministry of Defense on March 15.
The new vessels will replace the aging Tripartite-class minehunters in service with the two navies.
