The military in Taiwan says it is investigating the possible compromising of naval communications codes.
A laptop on a Taiwanese navy ship has vanished, sparking fears of espionage, reports Agence France-Presse.
The classified computer, installed onboard a Kuang Hua VI-class guided-missile patrol craft, disappeared in late May at the southern port of Tsoying, Taiwan's largest naval base, military officials said on Monday.
