In a high-sea rescue, South Korean navy commandos have freed the crew of a freighter hijacked by pirates in the Arabian Sea, the Voice of America News reports.
The commando operation took place in the waters between Oman and Africa.
The captain of the Samho Jewelry is expected to recover from a gunshot wound suffered during Friday's rescue operation, military officials said. All 21 crew members were rescued.
