The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, Calif., has developed a miniaturized fire-control system for small tactical unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), reports the U.S. Naval Air Systems Command.
The Weapons Management Suite (WMS), during recent demonstrations in a China Lake lab, showed that it could acquire and track a target and control the canards on a Spike missile, said NAVAIR.
