NAVAIR Orders Another 12 CH-53K Choppers For Marines

The Naval Air Systems Command has awarded Sikorsky a contract for additional heavy-lift helicopters for the Marine Corps.
On May 17, Sikorsky received a $1.3 billion contract covering low-rate initial production Lots 2 and 3 of CH-53K King Stallion helicopters, said a NAVAIR release.
The deal covers a total of 12 aircraft.
