NATO Troops Killed In Attacks In South, East

Three NATO soldiers were killed Friday in separate attacks in southern and eastern Afghanistan, the Canadian Press reports.

In southern Afghanistan, one troop was killed by a bomb, said NATO military officials.

Another soldier was reported killed in the south in an insurgent attack.

In the eastern part of Afghanistan, another NATO soldier was killed by a bomb, said alliance officials.

There have been 615 NATO fatalities in Afghanistan this year.
