The Finnish government is reconsidering its participation in the NATO Response Force (NRF), reports the Helsingin Sanomat.
In March 2008, Finland decided to take part in NRF training activities and provide resources for operations, but without providing standby forces for the unit.
However, NATO regulations require non-members to take part in standby rotations in order to participate in training activities.
