A pair of Russian Tu-160 strategic bombers conducted a patrol over the North Sea that lasted through early Friday morning, reports Interfax-AVN.
Throughout the flight, which lasted more than 13 hours, the two aircraft were escorted by Norwegian F-16s and British Tornados.
Russia's long-range aviation branch conducts routine patrols over the international waters of the Arctic, Black Sea and Pacific Ocean, and they have been regularly shadowed by Western planes.
