As NATO Draws Down, Security Tightened Along Afghan Border

The Tajik border guard service has been strengthening security along the Tajikistan's frontier with Afghanistan, reports Interfax-AVN (Russia).
"All border guard units along the Tajik-Afghan border have been put on high alert. The number of servicemen in the border guard units has been doubled, and the patrolling has become more frequent," according to a source in the Tajik special services.
