NATO has initiated a project to strengthen sharing intelligence among foreign forces in Afghanistan, Reuters reports.
The Afghan Mission Network is based around a high-speed broadband link between 63 Afghan locations, NATO officials said.
The system will promote sharing of operational information and databases, as well as methods to counter roadside bombs, officials said. It is also expected to contribute to faster medical evacuation times.
