Nationwide Unit Set Up To Improve Naval Maintenance

The Australian navy has just established a new unit intended to improve maintenance support, reports the Australian Dept. of Defense.

Fleet Support Unit-Australia combines all of the current fleet support units now located in different areas nationwide.

A recent review noted that the separate units did not have the authority to achieve their repair and maintenance objectives, according to a department release on Thursday.
