Nationwide Exercise Shuts Down Roads

Israeli security forces launched an unannounced training exercise across the country on Thursday, reports Haaretz.

The comprehensive drill involved police, military and emergency services.

As part of the exercise, security forces responded to simulated crisis situations, including simultaneous terrorist attacks at several locations.

Roadblocks incorporated into the exercise caused a nationwide traffic gridlock, reported Ynet News.
