National Security Cutter James Officially Begins Coast Guard Service

The U.S. Coast Guard has scheduled the commissioning of its newest Bertholf-class national security cutter in Boston, reports Gulflive.com (Miss.).
The James (WMSL-754) was delivered in June to the Coast Guard at the Huntington Ingalls Industries facility in Pascagoula, Miss. She left for Boston in July following a month of training.
The cutter is slated to be homeported in Charleston, S.C., alongside her sister ship Hamilton (WMSL-753).
