National Defense University Gets Nod

The Cabinet of Indian government ministers has approved plans to establish a National Defense University to boost links among existing educational institutes and address strategic security issues, reports the Indo-Asian News Service.
The Cabinet authorized US$65 million to set up the university as a fully autonomous institution and US$22 million for the acquisition of 200 acres of land at Binola outside of New Delhi.
