A court in South Korea has sentenced a North Korean defector to four years in prison for trying to kill another defector, UPI reports.
The defendant, identified only by the surname Ahn, was convicted Wednesday of plotting to kill Park Sang Hak with a poisoned needle.
Ahn, a former member of North Korea's special operations force who defected in 1995, was approached by a North Korean agent during a business trip to Mongolia in 2010 and ordered to carry out the assassination,...
