A handshake agreement with Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) to buy four amphibious warships as part of a single contract may be in jeopardy, reports USNI News.
The agreement covers the purchase of three San Antonio-class landing platform docks and one America-class amphibious assault ship, acting Navy acquisition chief Jay Stefany told the Senate Armed Services Committee seapower subcommittee on Tuesday as reported by Defense News.
